Anita Mui, a well-known female artist in Hong Kong, is known as the "big sister in the music world". Her image is ever-changing and she has won numerous awards. She is a superstar and an iconic figure in the splendid and heyday of Hong Kong's Cantonese pop music scene. Anita Mui was born and raised in Hong Kong. Due to her poor family, she started her singing career at the age of four, singing with her family in Laiyuan and Kai Tak amusement parks.

In 1982, she won the gold medal in the "First Rookie Singing Contest" with "The Season of the Wind", and she has since embarked on the road of becoming a queen.
